Abstract
Storytelling has long been used by people to express their thoughts, feelings, memories and perspectives․ Digital storytelling provides learners with a platform to narrate their stories with digital images, voice, music and text․ It also allows them to combine technology with creativity and to turn their own experiences into meaningful stories․ When learners create and share their own digital stories, they do more than practice language skills․ They reflect on their lives, they come to understand and present their identities, and they find their unique voices through experiences․ The classroom becomes a space where learners feel appreciated and their personal stories find resonance․ Digital storytelling serves as both a teaching tool and a modern form of literary expression․ Learners can explore who they are, where they come from, and what they feel, making language learning personal and emotionally engaging․ This paper examines how digital storytelling enables people to express their thoughts and feelings through stories․
Keywords: Digital storytelling, Human psyche, Literary narratives, Identity.
