Abstract

This paper focuses on the character development of Moses in the Bible. It examines how individuals who initially exhibit hesitation, fear, or self-doubt gradually transform into effective leaders through personal growth and experience. God’s servant Moses was called by God to lead His people. God told Moses that He would be with him but Moses remained unconvinced. It is discovered that the leadership style of Moses is based on transformational leadership style. His character is exemplary in several ways. Moses is a reluctant figure who doubts his abilities and fears the responsibility of leading the Israelites. But he gradually grows through challenge, obedience, and faith. The study highlights how moments of doubt often become turning points that encourage deeper self-awareness and resilience. Moses, a once terrified leader, was used to deliver the people as God promised. In our time this is taught to young children as requiring obedience, which is as it should be. Facing obstacles helps build resilience and confidence. Moses transforms from a reluctant individual into a leader. It is concluded that Moses’ transformation underscores that weakness can become the foundation for strength and purposeful service.
